ATLANTA, Texas—Earnest Charles Young Jr., 48, of Atlanta died Saturday, July 14, 2012, in a Texarkana nursing home.
Mr. Young was born July 5, 1964. He was employed with Underwriter’s Laboratory and a member of Mount Zion CME Church.
Survivors include one son, Jaden Scott of San Jose, Calif.; four brothers, Glen Young and Larry Young of Linden, Texas, Wilfred Young of San Jose and Ronald Young of Stockton, Calif.; and three sisters, LeShandra Young of Linden, Jacqueline Washington of Shreveport, La., and Carolyn Collins of Texarkana.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Darty officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
Viewing will be noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
