Mrs. Georgia Booth entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 6, 2026. Mrs. Georgia Booth was born on March 16, 1950, to the late Emmett and Helena Jackson. She confessed her faith in God at an early age and united with St. Mary Baptist Church in Bivins, Texas, and later joined Shiloh #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Texas. Georgia worked for Queen City ISD for many years, where she faithfully served her community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Booth; her parents, Emmett and Helena Jackson; five sisters; and seven brothers.
Services for Mrs. Booth will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Baptist Church in Bivins, Texas, with Pastor Gaylon Harrison officiating. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories four daughters: Patricia Hendricks of Waldo, Arkansas; Lakesha Booth of Atlanta, Texas; Shanequa Booth of Ida, Louisiana; and Sherri Kelley of Waxahachie, Texas; three sons: Anthony (Makaya) Booth of Atlanta, Texas; James Booth of Dallas, Texas; and Gary Barron of Henderson, Texas; one sister, Vickie Davis of Texarkana, Arkansas; and two brothers, George (Gertrude) Jackson of Bivins, Texas, and Jimmie (Margaret) Jackson of Bivins, Texas.
She also leaves to cherish her memories her granddaughter, Bridgette Hendricks of Atlanta, Texas; sister-in-law, Viola Neal Jackson of Jefferson, Texas; Nicholas Rainge of Grand Prairie, Texas; Dante “Soul Man” of DeSoto, Texas; Bonnie Federick of Bloomburg, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and dear friends.
