Valerie Lynn Jordan Wilson

Valerie Lynn Jordan Wilson, 44, of Atlanta, Texas died on December 20, 2012 at Medical City Hospital in Dallas Texas.  She was born June 3rd, 1968 in Spring Hill, La. to Mr. Roy Jordan, Jr. and Linda Jordan.   Valerie was employed with Texas Department of Human Services and T.I.S.D. and a member of Liberty Life Christian Ministries.

Services (Closed Casket) will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the Cornerstone Assembly of God, Atlanta, Texas with Rev. E.A. Jordan officiating.  Burial will be in the Pinecrest Cemetery under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.    The body maybe viewed at Cornerstone Assembly of God from 10:00 A.M.  to 12:00 P.M.

Survivors includes:  husband, Phillip Wilson and step-daugher, Brenda Wilson.  Parents:  Roy Jordan Jr. and Linda Jordan James.  Mother in law, Betty Lee Smith.  Siblings:  Pamela (Pastor Kenneth Hopkins), Rosalin Jordan, Pastor Efrem A. Jordan (Eureka) & Marietta Jordan.  Nieces & Nephews, Amman Hopkins (Jaymi), DeQuita Hopkins, Ahmari Willis, Jamarian Owens, and Micah Keith.  Great Nephews, Cayden Hopkins and Kai Hopkins.  Brother in Laws; Robert Smith, Timothy Smith, Willie Smith and Harold Wilson.  Sister-in-Law, Carolyn Beal.    A host of uncles, aunts, step brothers, step sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

    Hard to believe. Val was one of my all time best friends. Crazy as all get out and always had something smart to say. But I loved her to death. Family, God don’t make mistakes and knows what/who He needs. Be encouraged and thankful that you had her for this long. Take care. Always in my heart and prayers.
