Kathy Marie Smith Parker, 57, of Douglassville, Texas, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, in a local hospital.
Ms. Parker was born Jan. 1, 1957, in Tyler, Texas. She was employed with Atlanta ISD and a member of Victory Baptist Church, Atlanta.
Survivors include one daughter, Nicole Parker; one son, Alonzo Parker; two brothers; five sisters; six grandchildren; and three aunts and uncles.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Enon First Baptist Church, Atlanta, with the Rev. Joe Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
The body may be viewed noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
