Dessie L. Warren, 85, of Douglassville, Texas, died Friday, July 17, 2015, in a Mount Pleasant hospital.
Ms. Warren was born Aug. 8, 1929, in Bryans Mill, Texas. She was a medication aide and a member of New Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Joann Hayden; two grandsons, Terrence Owens and Taurean Owens; one granddaughter, Temika Owens; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Springhill Baptist Church, Douglassville, with Nancy Buford officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
The body may be viewed noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
