  5. Robert & LaVerne Mills says:

As an active-duty US Army officer during the late 1970′s, I (Bob) served with COL Richard (Dick) Cary, Sr. while assigned to SHAPE headquarters in Mons, Belgium. My wife, LaVerne, and I have maintained a close friendship with Dick and Ida from that time to the present. Dick was one of the most impressive and knowledgeable US Army officers that I have known. Moreover, he was a true friend in every aspect of the word. Ida, we pray that God will continue to shower you, your children, and other family members with His richest blessings. If ever we can be of any help in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Best regards and much love.
