On Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the age of 64, Sister Rose King was called from Labor to Reward. Ms. King was born December 8, 1956 in Marietta, TX to the late LasSalle King, Sr. and Thersa King.
Service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Hughes Springs Community Church, 750 North Taylor St., Hughes, Springs, Tx with Bishop Jessie Biles, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Floyd Valley Cemetery, Marietta, Tx under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
A walk through viewing will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Please wear your mask.
Left to cherish her sweet memories, a loving devoted son, Laumarko Lynn (Lashanta) King of Atlanta, Texas; two brothers, Ellie (Lee Pear) King of Marietta, Texas, and Bobby King of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Vera Shed of Marietta; and one sister-in-law, Janice King of Olivehurst, California; grandchildren, Destiny Alexander, Diamond King, Taylor King, Jalen Polk and Ja’Shundria Stokes; best friends; Gail Brown, Hattie Hatten, and Lettie Castleberry; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
To the King Family, I’m praying with you today as you release your loved one. May I encourage you to embrace the precious memories of her; that, will no longer linger in the earthly house as Mother, Sister, Aunt, Sister-n-law, friend or confident. Death is a human certainty, there is a promise from God if we seek him! The Lord Jesus can and will heal and comfort your hearts.
