Operine Webster departed this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. She was born on August 4, 1944, in Douglassville, Texas, to the late Elder M.C. Jiles and Ella Mae Jiles.
Operine confessed Christ at an early age and remained a devoted servant of the Lord throughout her life. She was a faithful member of Jones Hill C.O.G.I.C. until her health began to decline.
She was united in holy matrimony to Joe Webster, and to this union, two children were born.
Operine was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jannie Pearl Steger; and two brothers, L.C. Jiles and Russia Jiles.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Jones Hill C.O.G.I.C., with Pastor Ketrich Steger officiating. A walk-through visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
Operine leaves to cherish her memories: her loving husband, Joe Webster; two children, Orlando Webster of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Tisha Webster of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Bobbie (Johnny) Lockhart of Hurst, Texas; two brothers, Johnny Ray Jiles of Douglassville, Texas, and Dwayne (Cindy) Jiles of Plano, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
