LaKesha Lonza Martin Benjamin, 40, of Dallas died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in a Dallas hospital.Ms. Benjamin was born Sept. 14, 1973, in Cass County, Texas. She was a corporate manager for Exxon Mobil.
Survivors include two sons, LaQuintos Martin of Dallas and LaJavion Martin of Queen City; her mother, May Martin Neal of Queen City; one sister, Rachel L. Neal of Dallas; three brothers, David Charles Jackson of Queen City and Christopher Dickerson-Kidd and Edgar L. Kidd Jr. of Atlanta; three aunts; five uncles; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be noon Saturday at Gum Springs CME Church, Douglassville, Texas, with the Rev. Diana Casteel officiating. Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
The body may be viewed noon to 5 p.m. with visitation 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
