ATLANTA, Texas—Lorene Cook, 84, of Atlanta died Friday, June 24, 2011, in a Linden, Texas, hospital.
Mrs. Cook was born Jan. 19, 1927, in Douglassville, Texas. She was a dietitian and member of Shiloh Baptist Church No. 1. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Bill” Cook; and four sons, William Cook, Lorenzo Cook, Freddie Cook and Billy Cook.
Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Neal, Sandra Wilson and Darlene Cook; nine sons, Lonzell Cook of Houston, Clarence Cook, Arelious Cook, Leonard Cook, Cleonard Cook, Bobby Cook, Willie Cook, of Atlanta,
