Willie B. Richardson

Willie B. Richardson, 81, of Queen City, Texas, died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.

Mr. Richardson was born Oct. 10, 1933, in Honey Grove. He was a heavy equipment worker and a member of Shady Grove Church, Honey Grove.

Survivors include his wife, Vannie Richardson of Queen City; five sons, Rickey Richardson and Gregory Richardson of Atlanta, James Richardson of Queen City, Willie Richardson Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, and Oscar Lightsey of Dallas; three daughters, Anthony Richardson Greene of Dallas, Everlyn J. Richardson of Queen City and Lois Jamison of Houston; four brothers, Albert Richardson and Charles Richardson of Dallas and James Earl Clay and Robert Clay of Atlanta; four sisters, Roxie Crosby of Atlanta, Faye D. Richardson of Kansas City, Mo., and Dorothy Richardson and Karen Richardson of Dallas; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Enon First Baptist Church, Atlanta, with the Rev. Donnell Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Honey Grove Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed noon to 5 p.m. today with visitation from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
