Carlton S. Scott

Carlton S. Scott, 47 of Bloomburg, TX passed away on February 25, 2015 at Christus St. Michaels .  Mr. Scott was born October 11, 1967 in Atlanta, Texas.   He was a mechanic and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, Bloomburg, Texas. Carlton is preceded in death by his father Billy Ray Scott, Sr.

Survivors includes:  his wife, Giovanna Andrews, Queen City; mother, Charlie Reese Scott, Bloomburg, Tx; his Great Aunt, Dessie James, Bloomburg, Tx;  Four Children, Anthony Scott, Dallas, Tx; Lawrence Scott, Atlanta, Tx, Carlton Scott(CJ), Bloomburg, Tx and Attalia Scott, Bloomburg, Tx.; Five Brothers, Billy Scott, Jr, Eric Scott(Gladys), Dallas, Tx Glenn Scott, Corey Scott (Monique), Bloomburg, Tx, and Raymond Scott, Texarkana, Tx.  Three Sisters, LaShauyn Scott Walker (Anthony), Tia Scott Lankford (Mitchell), Dallas, Tx, and Steffanie Scott, Wake Village, Tx; Three Granddaughters, Asharrri Scott, Jenesis Scott and Jenelyssa Scott, Dallas, Tx.  Seven nephews, Four nieces and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.   One Special Sister-in-Law, Octavia Andrews.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Bloomburg, Texas with Rev. Willie Simington, Sr. officiating.  Burial will be at the Olive Branch Cemetery under the direction of  Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.  Viewing will be from 12 noon until 5:00 on March 6, 2015.   Family hour is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
