June D. Casteel, 78, of Marietta passed away July 2, 2016 at Christus St. Michaels Hospital, Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Casteel was born September 24, 1934. She was a homemaker and a member of Floyd Valley Baptist Church of Marietta, Texas.
Mrs. Casteel leaves to cherish her memory: three sons, Edwin (Lisa) of Fresno, CA, Charles(Linda) of Marietta, TX, and Rickey (Carnelia) of Ovilla, TX; one sister, Alma Milliner of Dallas, TX; three brothers, Charles Neal of Dallas,TX, Calvin and Bobby Neal of Marietta, TX; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, July 9th at 11:00 A.M. at Floyd Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Willie Ray Collins officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. The body may be viewed from noon to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, Friday, July 8, 2016.

I want to offer my condolences to the Casteel family. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death and it pains our creator who has promise to bring our love one back to life. Hosea 13:14 says “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them” Revelation 21: 4 says “and he will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore…” I hope these words give you comfort.
