Mrs. Bettye Garner, 78, of Texarkana, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2025. Bettye was born in Naples, Texas, October 4, 1957, to the late Venolia and Henry B. Garner. She was a Member Of Mt Zion Baptist Church and retired from Day and Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bennie Robinson and Lourine Robinson; three brothers, Samuel Garner, Sonny B. Garner and Billy Ray garner, and three sisters, Benda Garner Peppers, Deloria Garner Vaden and Virginia Garner King. .
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery in Atlanta, Texas, with Pastor Deshadrick Andrews, Jr., officiating. Viewing will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Shelia Garner of Texarkana, Texas and Eric Garner of Atlanta, Texas; three sisters, Lovie Garner of Douglassville, Texas, Robin Ann Garner of Atlanta, Texas, and Senethia Epps; brother James Christopher Garner of Longview, Tesas; grandchildrens, She’ara Garner, Sheridan Garner, Kaminski Garner, Candace Lightsey and Demond Haire; great grandchildren, Javarous Tyson, Jr., Cedric Owens, Jr. Kalyee Garner, Kayjah Garner, Kalaiyah Garner, and Cruise Haire, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends.
