Burnadean Federick, 78, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1947, in Linden, Texas, to the late Minard Neal and Nina Mae Ware Neal.
At an early age, Burnadean accepted Christ as her Savior and became a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She received her formal education at Fairview High School.
Burnadean was united in holy matrimony to the late Alvin Dale Federick, and to this union two children were born.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Dale Federick; her son, Anthony Bernard Federick; five sisters, Vercie Neal, Alice Mae Neal Brown, Birdie Benton, Betty Jeal Neal Young, and Ruth Helen Neal McCray; and one brother, Charles Neal.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Linden, Texas, with Evangelist Elize Williams, Jr. officiating. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burnadean leaves to cherish her precious memories and legacy her daughter, Bonita Federick; her grandson, DeAndrea Federick; her great-grandson, Camryn Federick, all of Bossier City, Louisiana; her granddaughter, LaVondra Federick of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Alice Marie Mack of Kansas City, Missouri, and JoAnn Newton of Inglewood, California; three special nephews, Albert Brown III, Willis Ray Brown, and Michael McCray; her special friend, Martha Woods; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom she loved dearly.
