Arstine Dickerson, 80, of Atlanta died Monday, June 26, 2017, in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Dickerson was born May 19, 1937, in Linden, Texas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and a member of Free Christian Zion Church.
Survivors include four sons, J.C. Dickerson Jr., Everett Undra Dickerson Sr. and Roy Lee (Tammy) Dickerson all of Atlanta, TX, Timothy Dickerson of Dallas, TX; four daughters, Bernice (Joe) Anderson of Nashville, Arkansas, Wonder Faye (Tommy) Rosser of Clarksville, TX, Josie LaVonne Banks of Bloomburg, TX, and Stena Faye Snell of Nashville, Arkansas; four sisters, Sivrene, Fannie, Joyce and Judy of ,Greenville, TX; one brother, Roy Stephens of Greenville, TX; three sisters-in-law, Estell Neal and Mae Bell Finley of Douglassville, TX, Princy Dickerson of Atlanta, TX.; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Free Christian Zion Church with Vera A. Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Gum Springs Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. The body may be viewed noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
