<p>Mr. Willis Rayn Brown passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at a local hospital.</p>
<p>Willis, affectionately known as “Ray,” was born on August 18, 1956, in Linden, Texas, to the late Alicia Mae Neal and Albert Brown, Jr. He accepted Christ at an early age at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.</p>
<p>Ray attended school in Linden-Kildare and later became a staff member with The Alicia  and The South Funk Boulevard Band.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Minion Neal, Nina Mack, and Mae Warren Neal, as well as his parents, Alicia Mae Neal and Albert Brown, Jr.</p>
<p>He leaves to cherish his memory: his brother, Albert Brown III (Marilyn) of Wake Village, Texas; niece, Tomeiko Brown; great-nephews, Swuan Seigle and Tripp Evans, all of Rowlett, Texas; aunts, JoAnn Newton (MC) of Los Angeles, California, and Alice Marie Mack of Kansas City, Missouri; along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.</p>
<p>A wake will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home, 304 North Polk Street, Atlanta, Texas 75551.</p>
<p>A home going celebration will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church, 207 Grubbs Road, Linden, Texas</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Bobby Ray Neal was born to the parentage of Thredford Neal and Willie Mae Neal on November 16, 1949 in Marietta, Texas. He united with Floyd Valley M.B.C., at an early age under the leadership of the late R. A. Anderson. He graduated from Douglas High School in Douglasville, Tх.  Later on, he was employed by Lone Star Steel, and he retired from Lone Star Steel. He was united in marriage to Linda Faye King. To this union, four children were born: ShaKai Neal, Jathan Neal, Stacie Neal and Tracie Neal. Bobby aka &#8220;Bob&#8221; loved horse racing, playing baseball, softball and working on cars.</p>
<p>He loved his family, and he loved to eat. Later on, he was called into the Ministry under the late Pastor W.R. Collins. He loved talking about the bible.  Rev. Bobby Ray Neal was the Overseer of The Unionville Baptist Church in Naples, Texas.  Sunset came to Bobby Ray Neal on September 7, 2025, after a long illness.</p>
<p>Preceding him in death: His parents, Thredford Neal and Willie Mae Neal, Sisters, Bonnie Faye Neal, Vernetta Warren and June D. Casteel. Brothers, Edward Wayne Neal, Mack B. Neal Sr., Freddy Neal, Charles Neal Sr. and Calvin Neal.</p>
<p>Service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Floyd Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.   officiating.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mrs. Georgia Booth entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 6, 2026. Mrs. Georgia Booth was born on March 16, 1950, to the late Emmett and Helena Jackson. She confessed her faith in God at an early age and united with St. Mary Baptist Church in Bivins, Texas, and later joined Shiloh #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta, Texas. Georgia worked for Queen City ISD for many years, where she faithfully served her community.</p>

<p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Booth; her parents, Emmett and Helena Jackson; five sisters; and seven brothers.</p>
<p>Services for Mrs. Booth will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Paul Baptist Church in Bivins, Texas, with Pastor Gaylon Harrison officiating. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.</p>
<p>She leaves to cherish her precious memories four daughters: Patricia Hendricks of Waldo, Arkansas; Lakesha Booth of Atlanta, Texas; Shanequa Booth of Ida, Louisiana; and Sherri Kelley of Waxahachie, Texas; three sons: Anthony (Makaya) Booth of Atlanta, Texas; James Booth of Dallas, Texas; and Gary Barron of Henderson, Texas; one sister, Vickie Davis of Texarkana, Arkansas; and two brothers, George (Gertrude) Jackson of Bivins, Texas, and Jimmie (Margaret) Jackson of Bivins, Texas.</p>
<p>She also leaves to cherish her memories her granddaughter, Bridgette Hendricks of Atlanta, Texas; sister-in-law, Viola Neal Jackson of Jefferson, Texas; Nicholas Rainge of Grand Prairie, Texas; Dante “Soul Man” of DeSoto, Texas; Bonnie Federick of Bloomburg, Texas; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and dear friends.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Michael Wayne &#8220;Wootie&#8221; Burns was born on October 15, 1959, to the late Notice and Myrtle Burns.  Michael passed away at his residents on February 7, 2026.  He attended school in Atlanta, Texas. Although he did not attend church regularly, he accepted Christ at an early age.</p>
<p>Wayne worked at Lone Star for 10 years before beginning his career with the City of Atlanta, where he faithfully served for 32 years until his retirement in 2020.</p>
<p>Wayne was known for his outspoken personality, playful spirit, and contagious laughter. He was truly an all-around good man — the gentle giant of the family — loved dearly by everyone who knew him.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his wife of over 30 years, Darlene Sherfield; his son, Tyrone Sherfield; his mother, Myrtle Burns; his father, Notice Burns; his brother, Otis Burns; and his sister, Ruby Burns.</p>
<p>A graveside service will be held Friday, February 20, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Garland Cemetery, 1317 CR 4328, DeKalb, Texas, with Minister Colby Boyce, Sr. officiating. Viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 19, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.</p>
<p>Wayne leaves to cherish his memories his children: Antonio Sherfield and Marjorie Sherfield of Atlanta, Texas; Shakeana (Kendrick) Davis of Marshall, Texas; and Mesheka White of Texarkana, Texas.</p>
<p>His grandchildren: Tiera (Wyatt), Jamodrick, Tacorian, Kenjayveon, Rihanna, Jamario, Amari, JerCobbie, JerLiyah, JerBraylon, Ta’tyana, and Mya, along with four great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>His sisters: Ruthie Reese of Sacramento, California; Kathie Sheppard of Dallas, Texas; and Mamie Seldon of Atlanta, Texas.</p>
<p>His brothers: Johnny Burns and Curlee Burns of Atlanta, Texas.</p>
<p>A special friend, Roy Lee Dickerson, and a host of extended family and friends also cherish his memory.</p>

<p>J.C. was born on September 23, 1962, to the late Rev. J.C. Dickerson, Sr. and Arstine Dickerson. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Free Christian Zion Church. J.C. attended Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Texas, where he graduated with the Class of 1981.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Doris A. Freeman, of Atlanta, Texas.</p>
<p>A close-casket service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Free Christian Zion Church in Douglassville, Texas, with Rev. Ann Brown officiating.<br />
Interment will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery, Douglassville, Texas.</p>
<p>J.C. leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Christi Johnson (Augusta) of Lee Summit, Missouri; his son, Jason Dickerson of Des Moines, Iowa; his granddaughters, Kynedy Davis and Mariah Dickerson; his grandsons, Isaiah, Josiah, and Elijah Dickerson; his sisters, Bernice (Joe) Anderson of Nashville, Arkansas, Wonder Rosser of Atlanta, Texas, Josie (Eddie) Banks of Bloomburg, Texas, and Stena (Gregory) Dixon of Nashville, Arkansas; his brothers, Timothy Dickerson and Roy Lee Dickerson of Atlanta, Texas, and Everett (Juanita) Dickerson, Sr. of Texarkana, Texas; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.</p>

Garner.  She was a Member Of Mt Zion Baptist Church and retired from Day and Zimmerman.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bennie Robinson and Lourine Robinson; three brothers, Samuel Garner, Sonny B. Garner and Billy Ray garner, and three sisters, Benda Garner Peppers, Deloria Garner Vaden and Virginia Garner King.  .</p>
<p>Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Cemetery in Atlanta, Texas, with Pastor Deshadrick Andrews, Jr., officiating. Viewing will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Burnadean Federick, 78, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025. She was born on October 15, 1947, in Linden, Texas, to the late Minard Neal and Nina Mae Ware Neal.</p>
<p>At an early age, Burnadean accepted Christ as her Savior and became a faithful member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She received her formal education at Fairview High School.</p>
<p>Burnadean was united in holy matrimony to the late Alvin Dale Federick, and to this union two children were born.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvin Dale Federick; her son, Anthony Bernard Federick; five sisters, Vercie Neal, Alice Mae Neal Brown, Birdie Benton, Betty Jeal Neal Young, and Ruth Helen Neal McCray; and one brother, Charles Neal.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Linden, Texas, with Evangelist Elize Williams, Jr. officiating. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the funeral home.</p>
<p>Burnadean leaves to cherish her precious memories and legacy her daughter, Bonita Federick; her grandson, DeAndrea Federick; her great-grandson, Camryn Federick, all of Bossier City, Louisiana; her granddaughter, LaVondra Federick of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Alice Marie Mack of Kansas City, Missouri, and JoAnn Newton of Inglewood, California; three special nephews, Albert Brown III, Willis Ray Brown, and Michael McCray; her special friend, Martha Woods; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom she loved dearly.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Bonnie Rose Ivory was born on September 12, 1957, to Simel and Irene Barber in Naples, Texas. Bonnie departed this life on Monday, October 13, 2025 at her residents.   She  married Robert Ivory, and to this union two children  were born and were blessed with seven grandchildren.   She was a proud graduate of Atlanta High School, Class of 1975.  Bonnie was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Marietta, Texas.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Bonnie dedicated her life to serving God and walking faithfully in the purpose He laid before her each day. From an early age she mastered the gift of affection, meeting others with kindness, warmth, and love wherever she went.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Above all else, she will be remembered as a strong Black Queen of Faith who deeply loved the Lord.  She continually sought to align her words, actions, and life with her belief in God. Throughout her journey, she exemplified forgiveness, humility, generosity, gentleness, and unwavering love as a reflection of the God who lived within her. She will be deeply missed as a trusted sister, an adored cousin, a dear friend, a favored aunt, a devoted mother, and a beloved grandmother.</p>
<p dir="ltr">She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ivory; father, Simel Barber Sr.; mother, Irene Barber; sister, Kimberly Barber; grandson, Jeremiah Lloyd; grandmother, Rose Lloyd; and great-grandmother, NeVana Rowe.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Floyd Valley Baptist Church. with Elder Rickey  A walk-through visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.</p>
<p dir="ltr">She is survived by her children: Rocky (Temora) Lloyd, Jeffery (Robbie) Ivory, and daughter Loriel Lloyd Ivory,; her grandchildren: Elander, Tiauna, Xavier, Jayden, Lyric, and Lawrence Jr.; her brother, Simel Barber; brother-in law; Garris(Tracey) Ivory,  her aunt, Sadie Warren; and several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and members of the Lloyd bloodline—whom she cherished with all her heart</p>

<p dir="ltr">Debra Benjamin, 60, of Atlanta, Texas, completed her earthly assignment and was called to eternal peace on October 10, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1965, to Vernell and Alexander Benjamin, Sr., in Atlanta, Texas. Debra was a proud graduate of Atlanta High School, Class of 1983, and went on to earn an Associate Degree from Texarkana College.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Debra lived a life full of love, laughter, and purpose. She was known for her kindness, sense of humor, and generosity, as well as for the many years she spent sharing her gift for style and connection while working at Bealls Department Store.</p>
<p dir="ltr">She is preceded in death by her grandparents;  Bob &amp; Helena Kelly,  grandparents; Eugene &amp; Mel J Benjamin, brother and sister-in-law; Larry and Earline Benjamin, brother-in-law, Mark D. Wells, and a Very Special Friend; Bobby Lincoln, Jr.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Closed Casket Services will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Enon First Baptist Church, at 12 Noon  with Rev. Dr. A.C. Williams, Sr.,Pastor and Officiant.    A walk thru view will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 5:00PM until 7:00 PM at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Debra leaves to cherish her memory: her loving parents, Vernell and Alexander Benjamin, Sr.; one brother, Alexander Benjamin, Jr., one sister; Gloria Benjamin Wells, one son; Damarcus Benjamin, twin daughters; Dazzman &amp; Dezzman Benjamin, three precious grandchildren who was the apple of her eye, Aceton, Kashton&amp; Darmarcia Johnson all of Atlanta, Texas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and dear friends who will forever remember her love and laughter.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery  under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Casandra James, 63, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2025, at Christus St. Michael Hospital. She was born February 10, 1962 in Atlanta, Texas, to the late R.V. and Opal James, and she leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories.</p>
<p>Casandra was baptized at an early age and became a devoted member of St. Paul CME Church in Atlanta. As a committed Christian, she taught Children’s Sunday School and served faithfully as a Youth Director. She inspired countless young children to become active participants in meaningful church activities for many years.</p>
<p>Casandra attended Pruitt Elementary School and graduated from Atlanta High School with the Class of 1980. After graduation, she went on to study Business Administration at Texarkana College. She later worked as a Store Manager for E-Z Mart in Atlanta before beginning her career with First National Bank of Atlanta, where she retired from the Queen City Branch.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents.</p>
<p>Casandra leaves to cherish her memory three brothers, Alfred Dawson, Harold James, and Jerold James; two nephews, Jason Smith and Alfred Dawson II; along with several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and friends who will deeply miss her presence.</p>
<p>Private family services will be held, with burial on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Shiloh Cemetery, under the direction of Coleman Atlanta Funeral Home.</p>
