Oneida Roquemore, 95 of Bivins, Texas, quietly heard the gentle call of her Master to come home and rest from her earthly labor on March 3, 2016. Mrs. Roquemore was born October 31, 1920 in Bivins, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons: Randolph (Elouise) Roquemore, Rudolph Roquemore, Kenneth (Gloria) Roquemore all of Bivins, Theartis (Sherrell) Roquemore of Ft. Worth; four daughters; Dorothy (James) Fuller of Ft. Worth, Margie (Manuel) Mack, Martha Roquemore, and Gertude (George) Jackson all of Bivins; seventeen grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and many, many friends.
Services will be 12 noon, Saturday, March 12 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Bivins, Tx with Eddie L. Mathews, officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. The body may be viewed from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 11.
