Loretha “Lorice” Lawson Tyson, 72, of Atlanta died Thursday, May 12, 2016, in Atlanta. Mrs. Tyson was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Atlanta. She was a business owner and member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta.
Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Tyson Sr.; two children, Felecia Tyson of West Bloomfield, Mich., and Lloyd, Jr. and Stacy Tyson of Wylie, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Edna Grigsby of Pontiac, Mich.; one sister, Evelyn Lawson Charleston of Atlanta, TX;
five grandchildren, Aliyah Tyson of Los Angeles, CA, Ashleigh Tyson of Waco, TX, Malik Tyson of West Bloomfield, MI, Alyssa Tyson and Alanah Tyson of Wylie, TX, two aunts and a uncle, Oneal Lawson of Houston, TX, Mertis Johnson and Oreda Epps of Atlanta, TX; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Stanmore officiating. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Doddridge, Ark., under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. The body may be viewed noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. was born Aug. 27, 1943, in Atlanta.

My prayers and condolences to the family. I am sorry I am not able to attend due to have to be on program at a funeral out of town. Aunt Lorice was a great woman.
