Brooklyn MaGee Federick was born on January 20, 2015, in Texarkana, Texas, to Paul and Somekey “Maxine” MaGee. Brooklyn transitioned to be with the Lord on January 12, 2025, she was 9 years of age.
Brooklyn was a 4th grade student at J. K. Hillman Elementary School in Queen City, Texas where she left a memorable impression on the teachers and staff. She was an honor roll student for three years. Brooklyn was known for her infectious personality and her love for singing and dancing. Her favorite hobby was watching movies on her tablet and cell phone. Brooklyn is loved and will be truly missed by all who know her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Edward MaGee IV; grandfather, Junior Ray Federick; and uncle Delvon Federick (Sharhonda).
Brooklyn is survived by her parents, Paul and Somekey “Maxine” MaGee; Siblings: Travon (Ashley), Paulneisha (Ralph), Candyce, Semma (Julianna), Joshua, Darnell, Paul V. (Ashley), and Tameka; Grandparents, Belinda Federick and Juanita Perkins. Brooklyn leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and school friends to cherish her memories.
A graveside service will be held on January 23, 2025, at 11:30 am at Shady Grove Cemetery in Atlanta, Texas. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Brooklyn’s life and share memories. A walk thru viewing from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
