Precious Lee Johnson-Rowe, 97, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Heritage Plaza Nursing Center, Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Rowe was born April 16, 1919 in Domino, Texas. She was a member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church of Atlanta, Texas.
Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Paul C.M.E. Church with Rev. Melvina Darty officiating and Rev. Darnell Thomas, Sr. doing the Eulogy. Burial will be in Ware Cemetery, Domino, Texas under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, June 24, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include: three sons; Theardis Cooksey, Jr., Billy Rowe and James Delton Johnson; one daughter, Evelyn Miles; three grandsons; Alfred Dawson, Harold and Jerold James; two granddaughters, Casandra Rogers and Angela Hunter; one grandson-in-law. James rogers, Jr. two nieces, Mable Lee and Ozenia Sasser; three nephews, Horace Lincoln, Odis Banks and Roy Mitchell. Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by her parents; Gilbert and Louvenia Johnson, two brothers, Robert and Gilbert Johnson; one sister, Quley B. Banks; one daughter, Opal L. James; one niece and two nephews.
