Cynthia Louise “Penny” Lendford, 59, of Shreveport, La., died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Lendford was born Jan. 9, 1958, in Marshall, Texas. She was employed in retail sales and a member of New Birth Baptist Church, Shreveport, La.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, O.D. and Bobby Wallace of Atlanta; three brothers, Joel D. Wallace of Marshall, Otis M. Wallace (Sheena) of Dacula, Ga., and Clifford R. Wallace (Tish) of Dallas; four sisters, Linda J. Maxie (Arlistel) of Atlanta, Texas, and Alice S. Black (Wilbert E) of Tyler, Texas, and Barbara A. Wallace and Della Prince of Dallas; one special friend, Ricky Thomas; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Arlistel Maxie officiating under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
