Ella Mae Jiles 88 of Douglassville, Texas died Saturday, September 19, 2011 at her residents.  Mrs. Jiles was born September 12, 1923 in Douglassville, TX.   She was a housewife.
Survivors includes: Four Sons:  Russia (Ouida) Jiles, L.C. (Louise) Jiles, Johnny Jiles, and Dwayne (Cindy) Jiles.  Three Daughters:  Jannie (Curtis) Stiger, Operine (Joe) Webster, and Bobbie (Johnny) Lockhart.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. at Jones Hill Church of God In Christ  with Supertendent Neotis Roberson offficiating. Burial will be in Jones Hill Cemetery under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Lois Mae Charleston, 75 of Linden died Thursday, August 25, 2011, at Good Shephard Hospital in Longview, TX.  Mrs. Charleston was born Dec. 23, 1935.
Survivors include: five sons, John Charleston, James Charleston, Ennis Charleston Jr., Lesley Charleston, and Freddie Lise; two daughters, Rose Chism and Cherry McCoy;  twenty-two Grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren;  two brothers, Raymond Green and Mack Davis; two sisters, Lula Bell Jones and Jessie Dowe. Two siblings preceded her in death.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. A. Miller Officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. ATLANTA, Texas—Dorothy VeElma Smith, 74, of DeKalb, Texas, died Friday, July 29, 2011, in a Texarkana, Texas, hospital.

Mrs. Smith was born Sept. 18, 1936, in Clarksville, Texas. She was an employee of Jordan Health Service and a member of Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Willie James Smith; five daughters, Velma Propps of Domino, Texas, Linda Wills of DeKalb, Faye Coleman of Dallas, Carolyn Smith of Newhall, Calif., and Patsy Lovett of Tulsa, Okla.; two sons, Tommy Smith of Northridge, Calif., and Lavon Smith of Newhall; one sister, Ida Fay Coleman of Bakersfield, Calif.; one brother, Charles Barrett of Texarkana; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Melvin Gray officiating. Burial will be in English Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.

The body may be viewed from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, with visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
