Ms. Sharon Kay Neal, 61, of Texarkana, Texas passed away on June 13, 2020.    She was born August 16, 1958 in Atlanta TX.   Ms. Neal was a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta, TX.  and a  RN.

Services will be Saturday, June 20, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Jonathan Stanmore, presiding along with Dr. A.C. Williams.    Visitation will be June, 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.

Ms. Sharon Neal is survived by: one son,James (Amber) Neal of Texarkana; seven grandchildren’s, Hannah McCaughan, Kyler Neal, Nadyia Neal. LaTrinity Neal, Serenity Neal, Miracle Neal and Jordan Frazier; two great-grand; four brothers, Marvin Coleman, Donald (Lula) Coleman, Harnell Coleman, and Robert Thomas; three sisters, Dorothy Coleman, Mary Adams, and Shirley Simon.

Miss Tina Faye Rainey, 55, of Arlington, Texas passed away May 19, 2020 at her resident. Miss Rainey was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Clyde Rainey, Jr. and Leatrice Crenshaw Rainey in Lodi, Texas.  She received her education at Linden-Kildare High School and Wiley College in Marshall, Texas.

Grave Side services will be Sunday, May 31, 11:00 A.M. at Galloway Cemetery, Kildare, Texas with Bishop Marvin Campbell, Officiating, under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.

She leaves to mourn her homegoing;  a loving mother, Mrs. Leatrice Rainey of Lodi; four sister, Mrs. Retta Walker , Mrs. Urecia Tucker, Ms. Wynetta Boyd, all of Marshall, and Mrs, Sharon Rainey of Lodi; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Jimmy L. Stiger, 65, of Del City, Oklahoma, died March 20, 2020.  Mr. Stiger was born November 16, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan. He was retired from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma and Red River Army Depot. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Services will be Saturday, March 28, at 12:00 PM at Shiloh Cemetery, Atlanta, TX, with Rev. Herbert Harper officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home, Atlanta, TX. Viewing is March 27 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Freda Stiger; four daughters, Trenka, Danielle, Rosalyn and Amanda; four brothers, James Raymond, Arthur, Jerry and Andrew; three sisters, Alice, Carolyn and Eyvette; three grandsons; two granddaughters; one great-grandbaby and a host of relatives and friends.

Richard L. Cary Jr., 59, of 2119 MA County Road 3636,was found dead March 8, 2020, at his home. Mr. Cary was born July 25, 1961, in Ausburg, Germany.

Closed casket services are 12:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home, 304 Polk St., Atlanta, Texas, with the Rev. Jonathan Stanmore officiating. Burial is in Pinecrest Cemetery, Atlanta, Texas, under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.

Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte (Marquis) Branch and Tiffany (Jacque) St. Thomas; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Branch, Jack St. Thomas and Alex St. Thomas; one sister, Margo Faithful; one niece, Rachael Faithful;  nephew, Robert Faithful III; and three aunts, Roslyn Woody, Natoma Howard and Anna James.

Calvin Lee Neal, 73, of 1104 S. William St., Atlanta, TX, 75551, died January 23, 2020, in Golden Villa Nursing Home, Atlanta, Texas.  Mr. Neal was born Nov. 27, 1946, in Marietta, Texas. He was retired and a member of Floyd Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2020, in Floyd Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Marietta, Texas with Bishop Veynell Warren officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery, Marietta, Texas, under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home, Atlanta, TX. The body may be viewed on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Anthony Neal and Michael Neal; one sister, Alma Milliner; two brothers, Charles Neal and Bobby Neal; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Betty E. Howery, 72, of 555 Perry Street, Texarkana, Ark., 71854, died January 21, 2020, in an Arkansas nursing and rehabilitation center.  Ms. Howery was born April 22, 1947, in Atlanta, TX.  She was retired and a member of St. Mary Church.

Services are 1:00 pm Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home with Calvin Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Bivins Cemetery. The body may be viewed from 12 noon until 7 pm on Friday, January 24, 2020.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Bartlett; two sons, Winfred Bracken and Christopher Howery; two brothers, George Jackson and Jimmie Jackson; two sisters, Georgia Booth and Vickie Davis; and seven grandchildren.

Robert Charles Kelly, 71, of 601 Armstrong St., Atlanta, TX, died Nov. 9, 2019, at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center.  Mr. Kelly was born March 12, 1948, in Cass County. He was a machine operator for International Paper and a member of St. Paul CME, Atlanta, TX.

Services are 12 PM on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at St. Paul CME Atlanta with Melvira Darty officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery under direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home, Atlanta, TX. Viewing is from 12-8 PM Friday, Nov. 15

Roberta “Roe” Martin, age 90 of Atlanta, TX died September 6, 2019, at her home. Ms. Martin was born December 13, 1928, in Atlanta, Texas. She was a C.N.A.

She was preceded in death by One son, Willie Henry Martin; Four brothers, Earl Jacobs, Daniel Lee Richardson, Henry Richardson, Jr, and Glenn Richardson; two sisters, Lillian Mum and Roxie Mack.

Survivors she leaves to cherish her memory, six children: Emma Jean Walton of Long Beach, CA; Bobby Burneham of Atlanta, TX; Howard Stanton of Bloomburg, TX; Tony Phillips of Bellflower, CA, Clifford Phillips of Las Vegas, NV and Edward Austin of Queen City, TX; four sisters, Ella Mae Williams of Pasadena, CA, Emma Lee Stanton of Queen City, TX, Annie James of Los Angeles, CA and Joyce Rivers of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, David Lee Richardson of Dallas, TX, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services are 11 AM Saturday, September 14, 2019, at Shady Grove CME, 1029 County Road 3324, Atlanta, TX with Minister Rev. B.C. James. Leonard Neal, Jr., 58 of Douglassville, Texas passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at his residents.   Mr. Neal was born December 16, 1960, in Douglassville, Texas.   He was a machine operator and a member of Free Christian Zion of Douglassville.

Leonard is survived by his mother, Estell Neal of Douglassville; two sons, Julius Neal (Shaderine) and Marquae Sigler, both of Dallas, TX; three brothers, James Neal (Debra) of Red Hill, Johnny Lockhart (Bobbie) of Douglassville, and Johnny Neal (Constance) of Texarkana;  four sisters, Ida Houston (Kenneth), Mildred Dixon of Red Hill, Mary Dowden (Lenard) of Queen City, and Stephanie Henderson (Percy) of Lubbock;  He is also survived by honorary children, Nya Nelson, Miranda Simmons(Ben), Mark Fisher and grandchildren; Special Friends:   Arlene White, Willie Earl, Allen White and Sue Raymon.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at Free Christian Zion of Douglassville, Texas with Pastor Vera Ann Brown officiating. Visitation will he July 12 at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home from 12:00 until 8 P.M.  Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery under the direction of Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home.

Normalene Jefferson, 86, of Atlanta died Sunday, June 16, 2019, in a local nursing home. Ms. Jefferson was born May 8, 1933, in Linden, Texas. She was an inspector and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Janice and Jerry Saddler and Sandra Jefferson; and three sons, Kenneth Jefferson, Michael Jefferson and John Jefferson.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Coleman-Atlanta Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
